I am sending to each of you with a copy to Chief of Staff Norma Houston for distribution to the campus Chiefs of Staff a document entitled "UNC System Office Division of Legal Affairs Directives Regarding Implementation of Students for Fair Admissions Decision." Your chancellors were most recently briefed on this effort last week by President Hans.

You and your campus should treat these directives as definitive guidance from our office for implementing the Supreme Court's recent decision. Please share as you see fit. In the coming days this document will be posted on our website near where our guidance exists related to the Compelled Speech Policy.
