Chairman Randy Ramsey asked me to share the following message with each of you on his behalf.
*******
Dear Members of the Board of Governors and Board of Trustee Chairs:
I am sharing President Hans' statement regarding this morning's decision from the United States Supreme Court.
I am sharing this statement for two reasons: first, I'd like you to be aware of the constructive tone that President Hans continues to set on this important topic. We would all do well to follow his lead.
Second, I am asking that each of our Boards of Trustees review the decision closely and thoughtfully with your campus's administration before considering any appropriate "next steps". This impactful decision affects the whole country equally, and President Hans and I expect that any responses by our campuses will be thoughtful, thorough, and appropriate.
