Sent on behalf of Gene Ritter, NCSEAA:
My sincere apologies for the technical difficulties on Monday.
It seems that there were two issues:
1) It appears I may have had an issue with the software which has led to IT reinstalling the program.
2) We seemed to have pushed the limits of online attendee cap. Several campuses forwarded this to a group of folks, which is fine, but it may have put us over the limit.
I didn’t realize there would be this level of interest and need.
We are going to reschedule for Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 10:00AM – 11:30AM. This time, we will be using a different platform to be safe that should be able to accommodate a larger number of participants I doubt we will need the entire time, but I want to make sure there is plenty of time for questions and any discussion.
The focus of the session will be to summarize content in the Campus Residency Responsibility Guide.
We will look at:
The role of RDS in residency determination
The role of the campus in determining eligibility for certain exceptions and tracking
The role of the campus in administering a Grace Period.
Please feel free to send this out to others who would be interested. Based on the response, I’m going to plan to repeat these sessions again next semester.
Let me know if you have any questions.
