* 2021 Enhancements Go Live
o HRDM June Due Date
- Wednesday, June 30th.
- Please try to close early/on time so we can start migration of the 2021 enhancements.
o Go Live Migration Schedule
- 7/1: System Office PRD migration (assuming all campuses have closed June)
- 7/1: Pilot campuses PRD migration
- 7/1: System Office and pilot campuses validation
- 7/6: Notify all other campuses to begin PRD migration
- All campuses should open July submissions early to make sure everything is working as expected
* SHRA Performance Ratings
Due date for the SHRA ratings has been changed from June to July for all campuses. Please continue to work on your ratings and have them ready for July. We have updated the due date in HRDM and the June submissions are now showing the performance warnings. You will see the errors when you run the July submissions. This change is only for 2021, the SHRA performance due date will revert to the June submission in 2022.
We have had some inquiries about when the HRDM Performance Ratings are due. This information is already in HRDM, and you can view it in the dictionary. Go to HRDM >> Dictionary >> Dimensions >> PERF DATE - Performance rating due.

- CLOSE MONTH: end of performance cycle for the campus employee type
- CLOSE DATE: end date of performance cycle for the campus employee type
- DESCRIPTION: campus and employee type
- WARNING START: period when HRDM shows performance warnings for the campus employee type
- ERROR START (RATINGS DUE): period when HRDM shows errors, and ratings are due for the campus employee type
* Shared Service Campuses HRDM-Banner Baseline Mapping Document
For the Shared Service Campuses, we have created a baseline mapping document that shows the flow of data from your Banner ERP form, tab, field and GTVSDAX configuration, to the related HRDM field for each datafeed. The document is currently in PRD and can be accessed on the Documents page. You can use it in troubleshooting HRDM issues, as it links the affected HRDM field to the Banner data source.

* PDF 2021 Updates
Academic Rank IPEDS - Change will be to apply the re-ranking logic to all employees, not just employees in SOC code 251000.
Instructional Staff Indicator IPEDS -Employees who are SOC_CODE_PRIMARY=251000 and have empl_faculty_category_code values of '3-Research' or '4-Public Service' need to be coded as 0-Not Instructional Staff. These employees are considered non-instructional staff in IPEDS HR.
Employee Faculty Indicator- Logic currently uses FTE_EMPLOYEE_TOTAL >=.97 to flag full-time faculty, should be >=.98 or greater to be consistent with EMPLOYEE_FULL_PART_TIME_IPEDS
Employee Faculty Category (this may need more discussion with HRDM) - Institutions have said there is already a validation for this, but there are employees in the PDF with a SOC_CODE_PRIMARY = 251000 and a missing value for EMPL_FACULTY_CATEGORY_CODE. We'd like to request that this be an error. Empl_faculty_category is used in the derivation logic for various PDF fields and in most parts of the IPEDS HR survey.

Please see the HRDM updates below. I would appreciate your response about the QA migration as soon as possible.
* 2021 Enhancements Go Live
* QA Migration
The System Office is finalizing testing of the 2021 enhancements in DEV, and would like your permission to install the changes in QA early next week for final testing and preparation for go live. That means you will not be able to use QA for any production related testing until after go live in July. Please respond with your approval by Tuesday, 6/15. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you approve of the migration.
If there are objections to the QA migration, we will refresh DEV with the May data, and everyone can run the June submissions to test in DEV.
