Hey everyone,
I wanted to get your thoughts on the below:
A donor is interested in making a 5-year pledge with the annual payments being 20% of the
income earned on the sale of their product. For this reason, we won't know the total
value of the pledge until it is fulfilled, but there is interest in formalizing the
agreement. Have any of you accepted pledges like this and do you recommend doing so? If
so, I imagine it would need to be a conditional pledge with an estimated pledge amount
unless the donor decided to make a more formal pledge with the knowledge that they can add
to or write off as needed?
Appreciate any thoughts you may have.
Thanks,
Blake
